Business entrepreneur course – any ideas where?

entrepreneur
I am looking to set up my own business in the next few months here in the UK, and am looking to go on a entrepreneur development course. Ideally I am looking at the top business schools, but can’t seem to find a 1 or 2 week course that I could go on at any of them that specialises in aspects of being an entrepreneur – that said, I have been told that they do exist, I just can’t find them! Am happy to pay for something good.

Any suggestions? Ideally I would like to be in the UK, but happy to go further afield (USA or Continental Europe etc)

Thanks!

Entrepreneurs learn on the streets, not in college. Classes can only tell you the boundaries you’ll work within; they’ll never give you a feel for real risk, and you’ll never exercise creativity.

    My friend,
I’m not sure what sort of business you are intending to get into so I can’t really recommend any short courses for you. Different kinds of business require quite a different set of skills to begin with.

The best skill a great leader / businessman should have is the ability to find great people.

Richard Branson has it, Donald Trump has it….

I reckon reading the biographies of great businessmen on how they do it could be much more beneficial to you on a general basis than a short course which basically teaches from the textbooks about accounting.
